outdoors, enjoy being in control of large, powerful machines to carve
out roads and construction sites, or if you prefer to work in the forest
using the latest high-tech logging equipment to harvest trees, then the
Arkansas Heavy Equipment Operator Training Academy is for you. Our program is
administered and provided through UAM-COT-McGehee, but the program is located in
Warren, Arkansas on the SEACBEC campus. We are pleased to announce the revamping of our

Program Learning
Outcomes:
Students
successfully completing the UAM CTM Heavy Equipment program will be
able to:
- Demonstrate the
safe, efficient operation of conventional heavy equipment at the
basic level according to National Center for Construction
Education and Research (NCCER) standards.
- Successfully obtain
Heavy Equipment Operations certification from the National
Center for Construction Education and Research.
- Perform
appropriately the skills necessary to obtain employment in the
field of Heavy Equipment Operations.

AHEOTA Construction students, upon
successful completion of the curriculum, will receive
national
certification through the National Center
for Construction Education and
Research.
AHEOTA For Timber Producers' students, upon
completion of the curriculum, will
receive a
state certificate through the
Arkansas Timber Producers' Association (ATPA)
- 2 Semester Program,
2 days per week
